ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! My name is Prajna Upadhyaya. I am a sophomore at Tufts University in Massachusetts. I am a Biology and Community Health major who enjoys education and the arts. In late high school, I found my passion in: public health, creative writing, and biology. Currently, I am using this platform to explore and spread my passions and interests while also helping others achieve the same.

WHY I CREATED THIS PROJECT

The Art of Biology first started out during the Covid-19 pandemic supporting students in biology and public health education which was limited in schools who lacked the facilities to covert to online education. The main motto of the Art of Biology was to provide a welcoming platform where students can feel excited and confident learning about the everyday issues around them. As I developed this platform, I discovered a strong interest in educating others about noncommunicable diseases, realizing many were unaware of them. Consequently, the mission of the Art of Biology evolved to not only inspire interest to learn about public health issues in general but specifically to raise awareness about NCDs, aiming to cultivate a healthier society for future generations.
